When a photographer gets this close to heaven, he knows that he's been doing something right. And in this case, Depp, the lensman for this shoot, that "something right" was picking the location, the time of day, and the model for his FEMJOY shoot. The location was a slow, shallow river in southern Austria. The time of day was late afternoon, around 5 pm in the summer. And the model was Vika, a glowing blonde petite young lady from Vienna who had never posed naked or in clothes, for that matter. She was a modeling virgin, and she glowed like the stars.

Depp had decided on the creek when he saw it on a walk with his dog, scouting for locations. It is over two hours hike from the nearest parking spot, so it's a bit of a climb. But when he saw it, he knew that didn't matter. He knew he'd get the model there even if that meant carrying her on his back.

Fortunately for him, Vika turns out to be quite an athletic young woman who relished the climb to the water spot. And luck would have it that Depp had decided to do the shoot at mid-day, but the walk took so long, and so many "let's shoot a few here" stops were made, that they didn't make it to the water until late in the day. But that proved to be a lucky accident, because the light was absolutely stunning, creating the glow that you see here.
