Chances are you've never seen anything like Desiree. Or, as it were, like Desiree's hair. The old story of Rapunzel comes to mind. Below the tower in which she is contained by evil, the beautiful young Rapunzel lets down her hair so that her rescuing hero might ascend and save her. For which, of course, he merits a kiss of thanks :-)
