The old song, "O Susanna," is an American love ballad in the old time style. It is sung to a young maiden who has stolen a mountain man's heart. And looking at Susanna in these photos, we can understand the feeling.

This moving picture, entitled "Reeds," shows our star, Susanna, moving among a stand of wild reeds on the side of a lake in Austria. In the background you can see bluffs and estates in the hills, but in the foreground you see only one thing - Susanna, completely naked, walking in the water, a nymph of absolutely exquisite qualities.

What's so nice about this movie is the way in which it emulates the innocent voyeurism in which we all desire to partake. It is as if we are watching Susanna through the reeds, yet thanks to the intimacy of the camera, we also get plenty of close-ups on her smiling, beautiful face.
